hello, my lovely friends! I’ve wanted to do a room tour post for a long time but never got around to it until now. this one is slightly different, though: it’s my college dorm room ๐ I like my dorm a lot more than I thought I would, and my roommate and I have similar decorating styles. there are definitely things I’d like to improve or do differently at some point, but for now, it’s cute and cozy as it is. let’s dive in!

when you first walk in, my wardrobe is on the right. it’s a decent size, and so far, I’ve managed to keep it fairly organized XD I keep jeans, dresses, and layering items/dressy tops in the wardrobe itself. the drawers are where I keep t-shirts and shoes. (and in case you were wondering, the temp is set at 65ยฐ)
to the left of the wardrobe is the bookshelf. we share this space. my roommate keeps her shoes here, and I have my top 10 favorite books (plus a few more ๐ and a plant from my piano teacher. I think it’s some kind of fern? the family calendar I got for Christmas also gets a place of honor here. (if you don’t have these Illuminated Scripture Journals, you should check them out!)

all the dorm rooms have bunk beds, and they are stationary. the only thing we could move was the desk. I’m on the top bunk, so I do have to climb on top of it, but that’s a minor inconvenience XD it is a really nice desk, with plenty of storage and workspace. textbooks and notebooks go on the side shelf, and miscellaneous little things are in the top drawer.
a closer look at my desk space! I do most of my homework and things here. my Bible, journals, and devotional stay on top where I see them. the picture frame is from my friend Leah and I love looking at the photos! the wire basket keeps my little office supplies neat and tidy. the flower pouch holds all my pens (I collect them, you might say ๐) and sticky notes, stamps, and highlighters are in the basket as well.

the rest of the room is taken up with the two bunk beds. the lower bunk on mine is our couch/sitting area. we both spend a lot of time there, doing homework, reading, or just existing and relaxing. I love getting out my heated blanket and curling up with a good book or show.
a closer look. my roommate spent quite a bit of time stringing the lights around the room, and they are so worth it! I like it when just the string lights are on; it’s so warm and cozy. we also have at least three fuzzy blankets there for relaxing.

and that’s about it! my roommate’s side of the room mirrors mine in the layout, but she has her own decor and organization. I hope you enjoyed this peek into my dorm room! hopefully this spring, I’ll be able to do a post about my newly redone room at home ๐
