hey, my lovely friends! it’s a week into spring semester, and I was thinking about all the fun times I’ve had already this year. when I came back from Christmas break, I was somewhat dreading winter term (my college does a fall and spring semester, with a shorter winter term in between). Winter is always my least favorite time of year, and over half of campus was gone on mission and cross-cultural trips. however, those seven weeks were full of wonderful adventures and great memories. I thought it would be fun to share those in a happy list (pearl does these fairly often and they’re so much fun to read!)
- new semester, new classes
- a professor handing out playdough on the first day of class
- seeing the Northern Lights
- watching the live action Snow White with friends
- late night tea and chats with mandy
- going to church and then Starbucks and Target afterwards
- doing a deep study in one of my favorite books of the Bible
- volunteering at the local Christian school
- getting packages in the mail
- pictures from my nieces and nephews <3
- calling a friend on Sunday afternoon
- warmer weather and sunshine
- sitting outside to study
- chorale practices
- playing piano
- walking around the mall with friends
- browsing Barnes and Noble
- working out and trying gym challenges with a friend!
- going on a mission trip over winter break
- warmer weather in North Carolina
- getting to work outside for a week
- writing a paper in an hour (I don’t think I’ll ever top that XD)
- game nights with friends after working all day
- singing Disney songs with friends while we sanded drywall
- seeing flowers blooming for the first time in forever!
- going to Walmart with friends and seeing other friends there!
- getting new mascara
- writing letters to church family
